"Recently moved to the area after retiring from 41 years in the dry cleaning industry in Minnesota. Our 2 plants and 3 routes served high-end customers in the suburbs west of Minneapolis. Before coming to Carter's Cleaners, I tried 2 other dry cleaners in towns west of Cairo. Neither of those were anywhere near the standards I, or my former customers, would have tolerated. Especially with regard to pressing. My dress shirts were so poorly pressed that I considered them to be unwearable. One cleaner put creases where there shouldn't have been any. The other cleaner's shirts had, what are called, "dry wrinkles". The dry cleaned items were pressed poorly as well. One cleaner creased the lapels on my blazer. Lapels are supposed to be "rolled" not creased. After these experiences, I didn't have high expectations for Carter's Cleaners. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The shirts were crisply pressed and didn't have unwanted creases. My blazer's lapels had the creases removed and they were "rolled". One thing that I would recommend is the addition of a cardboard "lapel holder". These hold the lapels in place, similar to how they would look when buttoned-up while wearing. This is a low-cost packaging improvement that would help identify Carter's Cleaners as the "quality" dry cleaner that I experienced. I HIGHLY recommend them!"
