New students are given their textbooks and mannequin head. The rest of their kits are given at 450 hours later thus making it hard for them to do practical training. 3. No reimbursement for business mileage. 4. Monthly inventory list not complete or late. Outdated products and not enough color to serve guest. Broken machinery. 5. Staff and students are cleaning crew requested push brooms, dust pans, working vacuum never received. Lighting fixtures need to be fixed. Sink traps need emptying might be glued shut. 6. Lack of training thrown in and not knowing expectations of the position."

"The Genesis Career Website needs a MAJOR UPDATE. The overall success rates? Inaccurate. Tuition 16,000 and no supplies, “kits”, scrubs, and all the other promises the website falsely advertises. If anyone from the college ever wonders why the admissions are low, then worry no more! Students are tired of being told scrubs, kits, books, and a ceremony will be covered in tuition. That is also a lie. These hard-working women/men completing the programs HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS THAN TO BUY SCRUBS FOR CLASS, OR A CAP AND GOWN?! one employee actually fired from her position because she couldn't recruit students. It's a shame because 30 minutes up the road in Chattanooga Tennessee I could have paid 3,500 for this same certificate, along with my classmates, and I feel bad for all the students in the past who felt that making their voice be heard would hinder their chances of successfully completing the medical assisting program. UPDATE THE FALSE INFORMATION ON YOUR WEBSITE SO OUR YOUTH WILL HAVE A FAIR CHANCE. PLEASE? Ripping off people with promises of supplies and a graduation that has to be funded by the students? c'mon. Tuition can't include gloves, supplies for certification…? All it takes is distribution of all funds actually going to the right place."

"The Medical Assistant program has NO SUPPLIES!!We are paying 16k for this program and we don’t even get the supplies needed.They say all programs get a starting kit whenever we start but the Medical assistant program didn’t even get a Sethoscopes or a blood pressure cuff! We had to buy our own in order for us to get to practice Blood pressures at home.We don’t even have Gloves or needles in order for us to get all of our sticks in.They are doing absolutely nothing to fix this issue and it’s getting difficult for us to do certain hands on activities because of the Lack of supplies."

"The medical assistant program is a good program. Unfortunately, this school does not offer the necessary resources. I do not recommend this school because they do not have enough materials/ supplies to practice on hands or the instruments necessary to practice the scenarios and most of the time we have to use printed pictures because we do not have the necessary instruments and we pay a lot of money to come here and they don’t do anything to fix the problem."

"I went to this school back around 2007. I do not feel that I got the training I should officially had. If you were not one of the popular students you were ignored. I graduated and got my degree. But how good is a degree if you were not taught the right way. I wanted to go back and try getting an instructors degree......why I don't know lol......after being there for the first part of the classes, they told me I was cheating doing the same thing every other class mate was doing. So they told me I needed to leave. I was there long enough to get one of my checks for going through the first part. That is when I found out they never put me on the roster. The lead instructors name was Shana. All I can say is you really need to make sure they are teaching you. Just watch your back, and keep your head to the grindstone."
