"This week, our dog Naina started suffering a fever from cancer. She was painful and not very responsive. We rushed her in, where Village Vets admitted her for 24-hour care through the weekend. They were up front about the costs, the procedures, and unfortunately, the prognosis as well. I called a few times to check on her and they were always very kind and understanding. They were also prompt to call me with any updates as well. We mostly worked with Dr. Franco, Dr. Cotton, and Dr. Hand, as well as their technicians Brandon and William. All of them were so supportive, and we can't thank them enough for their care. Sadly, we did have to make the hard decision to let her pass as her condition was declining, and we didn't want her to suffer any longer. They let us spend as much time with her as we needed, and when the time came, Dr. Franco explained what would happen and next steps. Altogether, the experience was as pleasant as it could be. Keep doing what you're doing, and thank you for not giving up on Naina."

"Please find a better option. I took a very sick and hungry, half dead cat that found in the road here. Poor guy was lost and his owner was in the hospital. They scanned his chip and found the owner but they still charged me for an "exam". They did absolutely nothing while I was there for over an hour with him gasping for breath. I tore a paper cup into a small bowl to give him water, and gave him some catfood I found in my car. I asked for a brush to try to brush out his matted and dirty fur, and used disinfecting wipes to try and clean him up a little. This was a terrible experience. I will never be going back. They have no heart for even the most sick and injurred and those who try to rescue them. I expected they would rush him in, clean up his nose, give him IV fluids. They seemed just happy to have him to use him to get money from the owner when they get out of the hospital."

"People were friendly and efficient but the level of care and administrative issues put my dog at risk. I brought my elderly dog in for a suspected seizure. Vets ran blood work and additional tests which came back inconclusive. They recommended additional tests from a different lab and some anti-seizure/convulsion medication with "minimal to no side effects." We were told the results would be emailed the to the regular vet by the next morning at the latest. The documentation was never sent to our regular vet, so additional follow ups were needed. When the documentation was finally shared, our regular vet said there were 8 forms which were mostly left blank and at the wrong level of detail. More critical, Village vets prescribed an anti-seizure/convulsion medicine with instructions to dose 2 pills, twice a day. Our regular vet let us know that this was 4X the recommended dosage for this dog and that Village Vets were incorrect in their dosage and instructions. This explains why our elderly dog has been stumbling around like a drunk for the past couple of days which resulted in 3 falls (painful and dangerous for a dog with arthritis and of his age). In summary, we payed close to $1K to overdose our dog for a full week."

"We have used the ER several times over the years for our babies, and they're always great. Most recently, they helped us treat my cat, Lucy, after she and one of my dogs got into a fight. At first, the prognosis was very grim, as she wouldn't put any weight on her front paws or potty on her own. Thankfully, with some pain medication, lots of rest, and some guidance from Dr. Neal and Dr. Prather, she has healed up and is back to her old self - playing and all! The entire staff was very helpful and kind during this process."

"I had a fantastic experience at Village Vets ER when I brought my cat in for health issues. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They promptly placed us in a room, and the entire team was thorough in explaining everything throughout the visit. Dr. Hand is great. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Village Vets ER for their exceptional service and care."
