"I went this morning, Christmas Eve, and there was still only 1 cashier. She said that since they have the self checkout, that they only use 1 cashier unless there's 4 or 5 people in line. I was there the other day and there was about 8 people in line and only 1 cashier & no one else even in the store. Dollar General is just a greedy company who don't want to pay for enough people to work there so customers don't have to wait in a line for 10 minutes or more"
"Love this store!! The manager is the absolute best. She's ALWAYS so eager to help a customer out. The store is one of the best stocked and the cleanest one I've been to. The staff is always stocking and restocking the shelves whenever I'm in there. I would recommend this Dollar General out of all others in the surrounding Henagar area!!"
"I love the dollar General Dtores! I would go there all the time. I cannot pass a Dollar General without stopping there. The employees there are always greeting you and always asking you if they could help you with anything and they are always so friendly and willing to talk with you when you go to check out. That's what makes me want to stop because of the friendliness that is there in the stores."
"I always thought the wait time at check out took forever and it would be aggravating at times. However once I started working there I understood what was going on, cashiers are not supposed to call for help unless there are atleast 4-5 customer in line with several items. On top of that add your normal register/pinpad mishaps, customers who argue with us because they didn't read the sales sticker correctly and and item was placed in the wrong spot instead of took to its proper home or the cashiers too short to see over the register and haven't noticed the 5 customer who just appeared because they were scanning and bagging, figuring out where to put the bagged item since the customer hasn't removed it yet, it takes time. Most of us love our job, so help us help you. Please come shop, ask if you need assistance whatever it may be and sign up for the digitals because it makes my day seeing those discounts and saving you money!❤️"
