"I ate at the restaurant the other day and sadly its not very good. A year or so ago this place was really fun some great memories here but unfortunately that time has ended now its owned by some city folk i reckon."

"Every time we're in the area we make a point to stop by H&G's! We've been going since the originally opened, and plan on continuing this tradition for as long as they are open! Their sweet tea is great, and so is their Coca-Cola! Everything on the menu is made by the owner, and she is an amazing cook! I love the Redneck Taters, and the daily specials! The desserts are worth trying too! I have yet to eat something there that I didn't like and that wasn't good! The portions are large, the pricing is very reasonable, and they always do their best to provide the best service possible in a very cozy atmosphere."

"Went to the restaurant for dinner last night. The tea was good. The people are friendly. My husband ordered their surf and turf, the steak was cooked medium well, but was ordered medium. The shrimp was cold. The baked potato came still wrapped in the microwavable plastic it came in from wherever they get them. The salad was warm and very unappealing, only lettuce, cheese and croutons. I ordered the chicken fingers, fries and slaw. My chicken was hot, cold fries and very dry slaw. They offered to recook the steak, but we had already been there 30 or more minutes and were hungry. It was very disappointing."
