Ranger Joe's - Victory Drive

"New to Fort Moore and the Columbus area and after in-processing to the installation and seeing the Ranger Joe’s booth at the ACS building, I took my brand new uniform bought from Fort Moore Military Clothing and Sales to Ranger Joes. I was told it would be ready within 24 hours, which it was. Timeliness was not the issue; the quality of sewing and the damage done to my brand new uniform top is what the issue was. The seams on the rank are jagged and doubled on the right hand side. My Air Assault wings are slightly overhanging my U.S. Army tape. When the Velcro was removed for my name tape, they put a hole in my uniform top and attempted to hide it with a poorly done stitch and the seams look awful. When I pointed out the flaws the older lady helping me said “you just aren’t happy with any of the sewing, are you” and “other sewing shops have a special tool to not do that”. In a line of work such as the military where appearance is a big part of my day to day professional life, I don’t see how any of this sewing is acceptable. This uniform top still has the tag on it and now I can’t even wear it. $55 wasted. I was refunded the sewing costs, but was told that there’s nothing they could do about my brand new top because I didn’t buy it from them and instead I had bought an Army issued top from MCS. I can’t recommend any soldier to go to Rangers Joe’s knowing they have no issue blowing a hole in a brand new top and giving it back to you hoping you don’t see their BIG mistake. Update: After some back and forth with management, they agreed to replace the top with a new one. Upon returning to the store, they took the messed up top back and told me the new top would be ready in 3 days. A few days later I go and pick up the top. I had requested that someone else sew my top this time, and the result was much much better. Everything looked good and so I went home with the top. Upon returning home and putting my patches and everything onto the new top, I discovered that the right shoulder pocket had NO buttons whatsoever. Once again I had to call up to Ranger Joe’s to speak with management to explain that the brand new top they just gave me was missing buttons. I was once again instructed to bring the top back so they could fix it. I brought it by the next day and they fixed it within 20 minutes. All in all, this was still an awful experience for uniform sewing. Did they finally fix the issue? Yes, but they weren’t going to initially. Would I recommend them to anyone? Absolutely not. I wasted a lot of time over one uniform top that they messed up in the first place."

"So cool. We saw Elvis uniform, papers and other memorabilia. Had lots of really cool stuff. Could've spent a lot longer in there but my card company was getting suspicious."

"Friendly quick service having rank sewn on to a PC. Had it done by the time I was done looking around. Noticed prices were cheaper on a lot of patches then store down the road. They IMO also have the nicer PT shorts from Soffe there. Only con would be for the amount of room, I'd expect more inventory. Regardless, I still like this place."

"Large space with neatly organized and well stocked items. You will pay more here than other stores. They sew for name tags, sewing them on to uniforms and other altercations. They gave an exact time they would be ready and they were. Went for Ranger School packing list and we ended up visiting this establishment about 8 times. They do have a good amount of items in a accessible and organized way. You should expect to pay several dollars if not 50% of the price extra for shopping here. Honestly it's a cool store for non-military personnel and family to visit. They have a nice layout, family related souvenirs and a Jeep inside."
