We have kayaked and camped for a few years now and since we retired this year, we evolved into thoughts of an easier, more portable, light weight option so we have no excuse to get out there on the water and ENJOY LIFE! After lots of research, we knew Hobie had everything we needed and more! Jamie and the entire staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to answer all of our questions with no pressure. Their shop was fully stocked, in a great location and includes an awesome pond to get out there and try all the options! "I discovered Hobie Kayaks earlier this year and came to The Dugout to take one on the water. Being completely new to kayaking, I had a lot of question. Jamie and the team were very patient and informative during my initial visit. Today I looked on their site and saw they were selling demos so I decided to call and see about picking one up. Everything was easy and the staff + people were just as friendly and helpful as my first visit. I ended up purchasing a Hobie Compass, an upgraded drive, straps, and a set of wheels for the boat. Great experience and worth a trek if you are looking to speak with people who are passionate about what they do. 10/10."
