"2/15/24 Party of 2 My first time here!! Ive been living in Albany for 4 years. We were sat at the bar. This was not a problem at all. Waiting on a server to clean a table. The bartender Louis, I can not say enough about this guy!! He is so kind, friendly, and talked with us like we were family. We asked if we had to move to the table, he said "no ma'am, I got you". So we were able to stay with him...I'm thankful for that. We ordered (6) raw oysters as an appetizer. Oh my God, freash, huge, and so yummy. I had the #9 my husband had the Dungeness and clams, both Cajun hot! The best seafood I've had in a long time. We are DEFINITELY going to return very soon! Thank you Louis for making our date night a memorable night!"
"Our experience at Juicy Crab in Albany on February 1st was extremely negative. Arriving at 9:20 PM with a party of three, we were hoping for a pleasant dinner, but our experience was marred by unprofessional service. The hostess at the entrance denied us entry, claiming it was too late, despite our hungry state and desire to dine.This unacceptable level of service prompts us to bring attention to the management, urging a serious reconsideration of customer relations. We are willing to share our negative experience with others, and to the respected manager, we suggest a thorough review of the service policy. Consequently, we have decided not to patronize your restaurant any longer. Deserving only one star for such blatant disrespect towards customers."
