Majestic Dominican Hair Salon

"I have came to this salon before and never had a problem with the price, I book accordingly to my hair type, for a silk press. I have thick hair thats a little past shoulder length, just like i did last time i came here almost 8 months ago. AFTER she was done she set the price as $93!! Now be real does $93 sound right for a SLIK PRESS?? I pulled up her website and the different prices are $50-$75. $75 for thick hair, no where in the website it says “&up” for a silk press, meaning the total is final. She then tells me “my hair was too thick and took two hours” which on the website says “ *service can take about 1 1/2 hours depending on length, thickness and amount of hair *”. She was just being lazy about the time she took to do my hair. then says that the other lady that did my hair last time charged me the wrong price which is bullcrap! I even asked for BUMPED ends, she gave me CURLS just overall a horrible experience. I been to many dominicans salons and i pay average $60-75 never $100!! beware she will overcharge you!! P.S. you will also get bad neck pain the day after bc theres no cushion on the bowl to wash your hair in. And the press wont last a day since she didn’t properly take care of my hair and seal it at the end."

"Atmosphere clean, staff friendly, its a tight spot, I couldn't stretch out my legs in the chair without being to close to the wall. I was not happy with my hair. The lady who washed me hair didn't do a good job, nor did she know how to roll my hair, she had too much hair on the rollers. The owner had to re- roll it!! The owner styled my hair but, she didn't ANY direction on what she was flat ironing, my hair was still frizzy in the front. Unfortunately, I will not be returning."

"My stylist was not able to fit me in, so I google hair salons that was in the area and Majestic populated. I called to see if they would fit me in and they did. I must say, when I arrived it was pleasant and a welcoming atmosphere. Bebe was my stylist and she was awesome. I was confused about blow outs and silk press which she explained. And then later she took the time to ask me about my hair and she gave me some helpful tips. I’m use to getting relaxers and I added color which damage my hair really bad. And now I have a lot of breakage. I got a deep conditioner and a trim along with a blow out. Because of Bebe I will not be getting any more relaxers. I highly recommend Majestic hair salon. They care about your hair."

"Easy to book an appointment. Stylists are very friendly and professional. Sara Fernandez is the best. I will never let anyone else touch my hair. Sara takes her time to analyze my hair type and give me her suggestions. She uses the best products on my hair. My hair has been healthy ever since I started going to Sara. The growth of my hair has been a journey and Sara had made it easy by providing me with patience and love for what she does. I look amazing when I walk out of her chair."

When I walked through the doors, Marisol was welcoming and made sure I was comfortable as well as offered refreshments. Salon was clean, all employees and customers wore masks and kept social distance. I look forward to making this my salon of choice!"
