"It took me about 2 years to write this review. The person I started out with moved. So I booked a perm appt with Daniel and a cut for my daughter. We arrive and he’s passed me off to an older lady. He does no consultation with my daughter and the lady did none with me. She pulls out tiny perm rods and I stated I wanted large curls that looked like they were about to fall out. They went up one size, still tiny. My biracial daughter has curly hair and it was lower back length. I specifically asked for a curly hair specialist. He cut her hair in a v and the front was shoulder length at best. Years and years of growth were just gone. She was 13 and wasn’t the age to do blowouts on the regular and her hair can’t take that much heat. I was positioned with my back to her, still being rolled in curlers. I was stunned and shocked when I saw her but didn’t want to cause a scene. When my perm rods came out, so did large chunks of my hair. Daniel wasn’t there, he took off early. She couldn’t even comb my hair and sent me out the door with wet hair. I was in so much shock I said nothing just paid and left. I sat in the car and cried forever before I could drive. What hair I had left looked like a poodle. I got home (90 mins away) and immediately text pics to Daniel. He told me he could refund or nurse it to health. I choose the nursing to health. He was going to order product for it. To this day I’ve never received the product nor my money back. I have a few more inches of the permed hair left and the hair that was burnt off is finally about a foot long. The customer service is the worst you’ll find. He was supposed to ship the product to me and never did. Be warned, the place might seem fun and cute, but the skill level doesn’t match the pricing. I was also in there the day they were getting family and friends to write positive reviews for them. That should’ve been my red flag there but the girl I originally started with was actually good. Too bad she moved."

"This is the best place ever to have anything done to your hair! Both my daughters and I only come here. We love that they make you feel like you are the only person in the world when you are there!!! Daniel is hands down the best ever! We will never use anyone else.When my youngest had a bad haircut, Daniel saved the day by fixing it when I wasn't sure it could be fixed. 10/10 EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!"

I have been to his Solan twice for my own hair and once for my girls. I recommend his salon for anyone."
