"A friend recommended the seafood place down the street Papadeaux. As I was getting closer, I was thinking this place is a little too much for me to eat. It’s just me passing through Atlanta. found this place and was intrigued. It did not disappoint. 10/10. I’m from an island so I’m used to fresh food with lots of bright flavors. And this place hit the nail on the head. I had no idea what to expect. I ended up getting the zupatacon with sweet plantains pork with some queso and salsa and oh my God it was a massive sandwich. There were moments throughout the sandwich I had to stop and declare this is amazing. The plantains were mashed into a sandwich like bread with the queso and the pork was just really flavorful. When I’m ordering things, I always pay attention to sandwiches because a lot of places will try to compensate the amount by using large amounts of bread. Not here. I will always visit this place when I come to Atlanta. And the empanadas amazing! The crust was sweet, cooked perfectly. I had the ground beef and chicken. Amazing. I go out of my way to small specialty shops, and this is the cream of the crop. It’s the best food I’ve had in a long time and I will not forget it. If you are in the area and you are a fan of bright, bold flavors, and great food, this place is a must!!"
"My second time ordering at this establishment and let me say, the food was good both times. I tried the food the first time out of curiosity. Now, when I travel to duluth, I plan a stop at Zuarepa. The cashier (female with long reddish hair) assists with English as I can understand and speak minimal spanish words. As a blk woman, I do receive "looks" of curiosity from customers (LOL), but it is to be expected. I am sure they would receive the same in ethnic restaurants that are of other cultures. Nevertheless, the staff welcomes me, which is what matters."
"Perfect place for a bite to eat in a quiet environment. I came here for a lunch while studying. The staff is very nice, food was perfect. The mandocas were everything. 10/10. Ill be back today ☺️"
"I’d never had Venezuelan food before and didn’t realize that’s what this place served until we pulled up. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed my food. I got the #1 with chicken and had more than I could eat at one sitting. My boyfriend got the American burger and it was also very good. Fries were excellent as well. Would definitely go back again."
