E.M. Bop Korean BBQ

"If I could give this place 1000 stars, I would. I've been to many different Kbbq spots, but this one truly exceeded all my expectations. Since my sister and I often go out together and we look young (which some servers mistakenly assume means we won't tip well, but we always tip more than 18-20%), we sometimes receive poor service at other places. However, at E.M Bop, the service was exceptional. Our server, Jihye, was constantly checking if we needed more meats or refills and made sure everything was perfect for us. We felt incredibly well taken care of and happy to have finally found our go-to Kbbq spot and server! We opted for the all-you-can-eat option and tried the dumplings and tteokbokki, which were all delicious. The side dishes were also very good. I could go on, but in short, I'll be inviting many more people to experience this place!"

"Had a terrible experience this past weekend that let me and my friends to decided we’re not coming back to E.M Bop. This is very unfortunate because we actually love the food here and we pretty much come at least once a month, but these new servers they have are ruining the experience for everyone. Our server was super rude and kept rushing everything. I asked for a soda after I saw he brought one for someone else in my table (he never asked me what I wanted to drink) and he literally rolled his eyes at me and walked away. Their menu says the cut off time is 90 minutes but after an hour of being there our server brought our checks without us asking for it. It was one of my friends birthday and another friend wanted to pay for her so we asked if he could put her check in his. The server got super annoyed and handed my friend a notepad and a pen so she could write how we wanted check splits because “he was confused”. He wasn’t confused, he was just annoyed at something that wouldn’t had happened if he asked first if we were ready for the checks and how we wanted them split. My friend asked if she could have some more cheese corn before we paid he said “no because I already closed your check” but we literally never told him we were done smh. After this we all agreed we’re not coming back unfortunately. Their menu also states that they will charge 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more but they charge this to everyone even when we had 2 people, or 4 people. This is not okay when you’re receiving the worst service ever."

"With out a doubt one of the best Korean BBQ spots I’ve been to in awhile, the price is well worth the experience and the meat quality is really good compared to most. I came in around 5pm with friend and we decided to do there 29.99$ all you can eat. They have other things to offer to go along with your meal so I added on Japche noodles which was separate from all you can eat options. We ordered beef brisket, short rib, shrimp, squid and beef tartar. Honestly everything was excellent and service was on point throughout the whole experience."

"this place is amazing for the price per person! only 29.99 for lunch & compared to other k bbq places, it it so worth it. all of the side dishes were amazing (cheese corn & steamed egg were my favorite) and every meat is marinated & super juicy. the only critique i have is the staff, although super friendly, we did not have just one server. multiple servers took our orders and others came by after we already placed one. regardless, i think this is going to be my new k bbq spot!"

"$29.99 All you can eat Korean BBQ (90 min limit). We were very pleasant of the service and the food quality. We were serviced by many different servers, it seemed like they don't assign just the table to a certain server. We love this way of service, as I can almost flag down any servers passing by when we need to get more side dish refilled, order for food, etc. My only minor complain would be when re-ordering the items for BBQ, the portion is very small. e.g. Order 1 order of shrimp, we got only 3 shrimp. As a shrimp lover, I had to make several requests to keep getting more shrimp, which makes more work for the staff. Wish things around this could be improved. I get it it's probably a way to avoid people wasting food, but if you already have a clear policy of charging $5 per oz of leftover for seafood, then why still be so strict on food serving portion. Overall, it's a good value for $30 a person with great service. We recommend this place and will consider to revisit."
