"A neighbor recommended I go to this salon to have my (short) hair cut. I have now been cut twice by two different hair dressers. They were super nice, but absolutely clueless on how to cut hair. Do you remember when you were little and your mom cut your hair? Do you remember looking in the mirror and being horrified? I have had that feeling now twice after I left their salon. Basic salon etiquette, like protecting you from hair clippings, isn’t followed. The cape isn’t placed tight around your neck, so I was covered in hair. When she removed the cape it was done so awkwardly that hair spilled all over me. A quick ‘Oops!’ and a swipe with a towel was supposed to handle it. They may be wonderful with long hair and coloring, but DON’T have your short hair cut here. I look ridiculous!"

"This was my first time to Parlour and Main, and I've got to say, the interior is super cute, and bigger than you think, inside. I had my hair highlighted and also had about 7 inches cut off. Considering the young girl that did my hair was still fairly new, she did a good job. Fair warning though, if you want a specific type of cut, ask which stylist can do that specific cut."
