"I love this place. It's such a gem in downtown duluth! The quality of the menu is consistently great. The menu is seasonal and usually offers unique dishes. The price is fair, and so are the portions. I'm not crazy about their beers. I find them to be sour leaning; but then again, I'm not a beer drinker. However, their cocktail selection is delicious! The cocktails are well crafted, in my opinion. This menu cycle isn't particularly interesting, but it was yummy, nonetheless. We had grouper cheek sandwich, trout dip, boiled peanuts, and shrimp salad. The hot toddy was yummy! Sweet but not too sweet and not overpowering of alcohol! You won't be disappointed!"
"Attended a Holiday party here and had a wonderful time. Staff here are super friendly and made us feel welcome. Your glass is never empty here as they keep you topped off. Tasty appetizers and charcuterie. Loved the smoked onion dip. Lots of craft beers and liquor drinks. Recommend."
"Chill vibes, good service and unique dishes. Not your regular “bar food”. Decided to just try some of the seasonal menu food and drinks items and nothing disappointed! The mussels were my favorite! I had to order extra bread the delicious sauce!"
"Our previous visits to Good Word were always amazing and whoever you are with, the outcome of the service is amazing. experience out. It is saddening that it is not my first pick anymore. The experience was so terrible, and here is why. - The server would be away for a long time and we can't even order or address concerns about the food. - When we finally found a manager? expressing that one of the fried chickens is undercooked, and she served a replacement. a face with no expression, no kind words to address the concern. - Chicken wing we ordered had red peppers and had a little spicy taste to it but we ordered lemon pepper. - found that one of my glass the flights that cracked I couldn't even report the last two concerns to the server or anyone because nobody was around but the bartender. At that point, we were done, so once again no server for us to pay, so I went to the bartender and paid for the food and drinks we ordered. It was a celebration for my sister's birthday and I apologized for the service we received that might've ruined the celebration."
