"We came in on a Sunday afternoon and the vibe was very calm and dim. Slow African rap and r&b was playing, and someone came to seat us right away. My wife got the Egusi. It came with fufu and we got to choose which meat we wanted (we chose goat.) The goat was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was flavored in a unique way that my wife loved but I didn't care for. This is the reason that the food isn't rated 5 stars. From the other guests I saw I assume that the flavors are authentic as several people happily ate various specialties. If you like Nigerian flavors or just want to try something new, I recommend this place."
"The food is good, but I feel it's over priced. There are other options nearby with food that's just ad good, but they give you larger servings. I paid $25 for jollof rice with beef, and they gave me 3 (beef stew-sized) pieces of meat with my meal. The restaurant is clean and spacious, but the customsr service is lacking. My server wasn't rude, but she had a nonchalant demeanor. It was off-putting. I almost took at as a sign to try a different restaurant. They had also scratched out all of the prices on their menu--which I thought was weird. They have tons of interesting dishes on their menu, and I'd love to go back to try them. Hopefully, this was a one-off experience."
