About the Business
Wright's Fish & Chips is a traditional British style restaurant located at 451 Vision Drive in Cumming, Georgia. We offer lightly battered Cod served with handmade chips prepared in the traditional British chip shop way. Our menu includes imported Chip Shop Gravy, house-made Mushy Peas, Curry Sauce, and Prawn Crackers. In addition to our delicious food, we also offer a selection of Beer & Wine, including Guinness, Kronenbourg, Fuller's London Pride, Magners, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay & Pinot Noir. "Went in there today and what an awesome place. I had heard about it from a friend so had to try it. Staff were really friendly and had a good time talking with them. I have been in the States for 24 years and can honestly say this is the best fish and chips I have had over here. I have found some good places that I thought were really good until I came here and tasted how it should be. I will be going back tomorrow before I travel home, but I know that from now on, anytime I can get down here I will be eating in Wrights. I have worked in almost every state in the nation and always looked for a good fish and chip place but this one is the best chippy hands down."
"We tried the cod & chips & the sausage roll. The cod was fresh and good. The fries were just ok (could use more seasoning). The sausage roll was flaky, but the meat tasted almost like liver. The service was fast & friendly. They had indoor & outdoor seating and brought our food outside to us. Everything was clean and decorated nicely. We would come back!"
"Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The cod is perfectly battered with a light crispness, chips are great and the homemade tarter sauce is what makes it so flavorful! I usually despise tarter sauce but this is excellent! There is a wall of snacks and drinks from the UK which is a delight!"
"We enjoyed our first meal here. The fish is delicious and authentic. The staff is friendly and the service was quick. I had the Cod bites and loved them, my husband had the Cod & Chips and was equally pleased. We will definitely visit again to try additional menu items!"
