"Harold’s If I could give 0 stars I would. As an educated black woman who proudly supports black businesses, this place is an embarrassment. I have been a regular at Harold’s in Marietta for a few years. In the last year this business has declined significantly when it comes to quality and service. One of the worst things you could do as a business is diminish the trust of your patrons by using shady business practices. We went to Harold’s Ice Bar in Marietta Friday 2/16/24 and arrived at 9pm (party of 2). The server did not come to the table until 9:15pm to bring water, menus, and straws. She came back at 9:30pm to take our order. Due to the menu stating “20% gratuity after 10pm” we placed our order and asked for the ticket so we could cash out. The ticket was cashed out at 9:35pm and it included the 20% gratuity. At that point, I inquired about the gratuity and was advised that 20% gratuity is mandatory on Fridays after 5pm. The waitress pointed to a sign on the wall which actually stated that it was the restaurant’s policy to do auto gratuity for parties of 6 or more on Monday-Thursday after 10pm and Fridays after 5pm. The policy addressed a party of 6 or more. I will no longer support this establishment."

"Ordered through Uber eats. Wish I had ordered it under Keith Lee name and maybe my food wouldn’t have been so oily. Taste like everything is deep fried. I order the chicken and waffles (while the chicken was really good) I didn’t expect my waffles to be deep fried. There was so much oil coming from them. The pizza puff taste good but it was oily as well. The flavors are there but it’s way too much oil coming from the food."

"The Good - The Food was pretty decent, although slightly salty. It was served fresh, piping hot, and crispy (fried chicken, whiting, & shrimp). The Bad - It took 20 minutes to be greeted by our server, and it took an hour to receive our food. I was made aware that it doesn’t normally take that long but I think our server may have forgotten to put our order in. Also, I was served the incorrect drink. I asked for Rum and Coke and received Gin. The Ugly - In no way, shape, or form should patrons be charged 20% gratuity when it’s just TWO people at a table. STOP THIS PRACTICE!!! I tip well on my own but I don’t like being forced to do so. I won’t return simply for that reason. Also, the music was WAY too loud. It would be nice to converse with the person across from me without yelling."

"The bartender (Brandon!) was super nice when we first arrived! Very polite and made great drinks. There wasn’t a moment where we weren’t taken care of. Usually at restaurants they somehow mess up my order but he made sure everything was correct and perfect! Mike also made great hookahs as well. We heard about this place but getting here and feeling very invited by both of them made me feel great. Love this place."
