"Not impressed! Last night, the hostess, elderly woman, was on her phone, rude when I asked to drive through b4 booking. Begrudgingly gave me a 25min temp tag. I wanted a primitive site. They only have 3. Close together and you cannot park at sites. You walk to them and set up. This place has a boat ramp but no beach. Old, nasty bathhouse is too far away from 63-65 primitive sites. Decided to not book there."
"Beautiful location and nice bathroom facilities. However, you are required to put your tent on a specific "impact zone" made out of gravel and ant hills. The gravel poked dozens of holes in my relatively new Coleman tent (even through a tarp I put underneath) and thousands of ants (including fire ants) came crawling through. Either be more flexible about where I put my tent or take better care of the "impact zone""
"Bathrooms are dated but very clean. Most spots are pretty level. Lake view/ front from nearly every camp site."
"Great water front campsites! Very clean park. Good space between campers lots of room at each site. Shower house near by. I highly recommend!"
"Every side has plenty of space between the other site. Easy access to the lake. Helpful friendly people. Clean not a lot of trash out of the place Great for people that have dogs Great for people that have large gatherings It's a wonderful retreat"
