"I was at an event at Marietta High School and stopped by for lunch. I had the meatball sub, and it was amazing! The meatballs were perfect. The sauce was amazing, topped with fresh mozzarella on very fresh bread. The folks who worked there were super friendly, and everything was immaculate. I wish I lived closer so I could stop by more often, but if I'm in the neighborhood again, I will definitely be going again."

"On my drive home I saw the signs for Hoboken. I made a quick u-turn and decided to give it a try. I loved the outside curb appeal and walking in I felt very welcomed. You could smell the authentic Italian food and just by that alone I knew I made the right decision to stop in. Mr. Johnny (owner) greeted me as he took my order. I told him it was my first time there. My boyfriend and I ordered his famous meatball sub, the chicken Parmesan hot sandwich and a bowl of his Pasta Fagioli. We ordered it to go so once we got home we dug right into the food. My goodness THIS IS THE BEST Italian food!!!! Everything was absolutely AMAZING. The meatballs on the sub were the best I’ve ever had. The flavor is unexplainable. Just true wholesome goodness. My chicken parm sandwich was wonderful and the soup, oh my gosh the soup was comforting. Great tomato flavors, the seasoning and the right amount of pasta and beans- it was simply FANTASTIC! Mr. Johnny was the sweetest, most kindest soul. The entire staff was attentive, kind, and very friendly. My boyfriend and I will most definitely be returning to enjoy Mr. Johnnys restaurant!!!! Thank you so much for your food and for your kindness Mr. Johnny!!"

"The sandwiches are amazing. The ingredients are fresh and extremely flavourful. The cheesecake with black coffee is also a must! If you're in the area, it's worth a detour. Highly recommended!"

"So glad I finally got to try this place, it’s been on my list for ages. Meatball sub was killer, best in town for sure! Chicken parm sub was great too, and finally the weekly special which was an italian sub with ham, salami, and gabagool. It was insane! Had no clue they make their own mozzarella, you don’t see that every day! The guy at the counter was super nice, made recommendations, and answered all my questions with a smile. Will definitely be back!!"

"First time here and certainly not my last. I got the famous meatball sub and upon first bite I could taste why it’s got the word “famous” in front of it. It’s difficult to find good, authentic italian style sandwiches here in the south, but Hoboken cafe might be as close as it gets to the real deal. Johnny was very friendly and besides the great food, i’m sure there are many regularly returning customers that come in to say hello to Johnny and his team. Thanks for the great food. I’ll be back for a chicken parm next time."
