"Everyone is so nice and attentive! The food is just as good as I remember over a decade ago, too. We drove an hour just to get lunch here today and it didn’t disappoint!"

"The food was very good. However, there were two sauces to choose from. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the whole meal. I like a sweeter bbq sauce, but everyone has their preferences. It would be awesome if there were a sweet sauce to go with the tangy sauce and the hot sauce. That would be the trifecta."

"When I first walked in, I thought... Definitely in need of an update. Not just the tables and chairs, but the wall decor and flooring. I could have done without looking at animal heads hanging on the walls, very creepy and really out dated. On the brighter side., Our waiter knew the menu very well and smiled the entire time. He was not only helpful with our dinner selection, but just a super nice young man. We started out with the deep fried green beans and dipping sauce. That was delish , then our second course was served. Everything was hot and fresh, I did ask for more of the deep fried green beans with my meal instead of the French fries. He was happy to switch the two sides for me. Unfortunately, he did not mention that I was going to be charged the full price instead of an upcharge. I did not get my full meal, they should of gave me another choice for my side or a discount on my meal on my bill. For dessert... The fried pies were recommended for dessert. We ordered the apple and peach fried pies. Unfortunately, we were not impressed. They both had so much breading that we couldn't really enjoy our pie. The apple was just okay and the peach was very dry, not very much taste. Plus they were baked instead of deep fried. Everyone at our table stated they wish they would have ordered something else for dessert instead of the pies. Overall.... it was just alright,not sure if my friends and I would go back. If we do... Hopefully the animal heads will be buried with the rest of the animal body that it was taken off of."

"Hudsons has been a family staple for many years. My first time eating there I was 13. Now I go and take my family as often as we can. The restaurant is always inviting, it's clean, and the food and service are ALWAYS WONDERFUL. Everyone who likes Barbecue should try hudsons in Douglasville, GA. My photos are of fried green beans, hickory fry, and a suicide dog. All of which tasted amazing."
