Reviews
"The path to the lower level of the falls is fairly easily accessible. There was a big pile of trash near the edge of the river, and some other trash (dirty diapers, clothing) at the top of the waterfall. The Waterfall itself is easy to get to and is beautiful. It is a small Waterfall. It is not handicap accessible though."
"Be nice if some kind souls brought trash bags with them and cleaned up a little. Beautiful falls. Witches Chimney is interesting too, but I can't find anything online about it, just our local tales."
"Short walk to a great waterfall ! Loved it here, but i would recommend visiting before the mosquitoes come out around 6:30pm"
"Bains Gap Waterfall is a local Waterfall to the Calhoun County area. It is located on what was the old Ft. McClellan. It is just off of Bains Gap Rd in just outside of the Mountain Longleaf National Wildlife Refuge on the east side of Bains s Gap Mountain. It is a run off falls. The falls has water most of the time, but there are time in the summer when no water runs. Wait until after a good rain for good photos. There is a parking area just at the end of the dri e way to it. Or if you are brave enough to go venture down the dirt road in a lower car then you can drive most of the way. But I don't recommend it. A pick up truck is better. The walk isn't but around a 150 to 200 yards from the parking area. Enjoy the falls and please don't litter. It is awful to see it with trash everywhere. Y'all enjoy. Remember, leave nothing and take only photos and memories. If this review helped you, please hit the thumbs up. Thank you."
"Nice waterfall especially after it rains. Looks like at one time it was maintained by someone but has been neglected. Currently there is a lot of trash in the parking area and the roadway it rutted out. But a nice easy walk to the falls once down."
