"Since the name change (twice since Charter Bank) I have experienced errors, issues, and a lack of professionalism I've never seen before and I was there for the Wachovia to Wells Fargo devolution. The app has never worked, not once. You will get handed off if you are able to get someone on the phone. If they make a mistake, they will not tell you what that error was, only that they regret it happening. If someone bought this bank for parts or something, I wish they would let the account holders know."

"CenterState is really disappointing in every aspect. If you need to use mobile banking be prepared to have to call and have your password reset EVERY time even if you just logged in 30 minutes before and also be prepared for the customer service agents ( not at the local branch , but the after hours corporate ones) to hang up on you if they bother to answer at all."

"Nothing but problems since they bought out CharterBank. I’m currently in the midst of disputing charges that occurred when my teenager’s card was compromised. A week later and the dispute STILL hasn’t been handled and the responsibility of doing all the run-around has fallen on ME, the customer. The fraud was reported and instead of handling it and refunding the charges (as previous disputes were handled with CharterBank), the CSR has overcomplicated the MESS out of what should have been a straightforward dispute! I’m currently meeting with other banks to see where we can move our business and personal accounts. Sad that this takeover has destroyed the integrity of the bank we were with for nearly 15 years."

"I'm very disappointed in what this bank turned into. Centerstate has ruined the amazing buisiness that was Charter. Setting aside the nightmare that was the transition, it now seems like everything good that Charter had is gone. 1. The app is like dealing with dial-up and you have to log back in if you hit the back button. 2. Direct deposits take too long to clear. 3. Transfers from/to your own accounts have to be scheduled if its after 10 p.m. ( and as of a day later it still hasn't cleared) Edited from 2 stars to 1. All transactions take too long to clear and nothing has gotten better."
