"My family has used Bartels for almost 40 years. My parents dog passed away a couple years ago and I recently relocated back here from another state. One of my elder dogs was acting off - I think she had a stroke - and living in Brecksville of course I called them first to see if they could see her. After explaining the situation, they said they could not find my family name in their system and then I was told they couldn't fit me in for over a week and recommended I look up an emergency vet. When I told my brother this story he informed me they were still using Bartels for their cat and their dog and we share the same last name! They were the closest vet and I find that response offensive. Obviously I will look for a different vet for my 3 dog's annual checkups etc. Bartels might as well not exist. Vets are so busy now they just turn people away. I can't believe Bartels has come to this."
