"I’ve been going to this dentist since I was a child but ever since McLain retired it has gone down hill. Got notified when my sister went to get a cleaning that a bill had been sent to collections from June of 2023. Never got a bill in the mail, never got a phone call. I’ve been twice since the alleged bill. I should’ve been told then, I was even given a payment plan for an upcoming procedure and it wasn’t added to that either. You call the office and now it’s a call center answering and they aren’t helpful either. Ended up having to pay the bill plus a collections fee. They are quick to send multiple text messages about upcoming appointments but can’t tell you a bill is due. Unfortunately I’ll be looking for a new dentist that won’t hit me with a bill from a year ago, and that won’t send me off to a call center."

"Receptionists are rude. I cannot believe the reaction I received when asking billing questions. The billing process is very difficult to understand- my family and I have two insurances- I assume this was difficult for the office to navigate. I paid the amount unsure of where the bill steamed from- as the print out was incomplete of information. I am moving and want to be squared away with all my account. The last visit, I did not actually see the dentist. I received my cleaning and was billed as though I was seen my the dentist. I have NEVER scheduled an appointment to be seen by a dentist for my check up and not be seen by a dentist -she was out of the office. It is a shame- I really enjoyed my dental hygienist."

"I've been using this office for over 15 years. We never had issues when the office was under Dr. McClain. We were recently slapped with an unexpected bill from a routine cleaning visit for an item not covered by insurance on my minor son. Usually, this would have been approved by us, the parents, before being done but we were not approached in the waiting room while our son was being cared for in the back. When I spoke to someone in their office I was told that it is up to us to check with our insurance company to find out if certain tests/procedures are covered. Though I do agree that the patient should also be proactive in finding out what insurance does and does not cover, we had no way of knowing what extra measures were being taken so we could not possibly check with our insurance company before it was done. We received this call saying "We just wanted to check and see if you could pay the amount due before we send this to collections." I knew nothing about an amount being due. I was also told that the office does not send out bills and that a text was sent to my husband ( a phone number that we haven't had in years which means they don't update the system with the information you have to fill out at least once a year that is supposed to help them update your information in the system). This is unacceptable and very frustrating. **Update** I received a call from the Office Manager who assured me that nothing had changed in the office except the doctor and that they use the same billing office. They wrote off half the bill and updated our information over the phone. I am hopeful that this was a one time occurrence and that they do a better job of checking insurance or at least giving the patients (or their parent/guardian) a heads up before rendering services that are possibly not covered."

"Great friendly caring staff. Needed an emergency procedure for a broken tooth, they fit me right in and took great care of me. From reception to the dental chair everyone makes you feel welcome and relaxed. At reception you have Megan and Chelsea who are just awesome at their job, then there's the dental hygienist Nicole who is very gentle but thorough when cleaning your teeth, taking time to check in with you to make sure you are comfortable throughout the procedure. The dentist Dr. Patel is very attentive and listens and answers all your questions and concerns. If you are looking for a dental practice that prioritizes the care part of healthcare you should definitely give them a call."
