Ladell Brothers Outdoor Environmental Center

The Ladell Brothers Outdoor Environmental Center, located at 325 NW Turner Davis Drive in Madison, Florida, is a 20-acre park and tourist attraction situated on the campus of North Florida College. The center was carefully developed to preserve the habitats of various plant and animal species, with over 200 organisms identified on the premises. Visitors can explore diverse habitats such as swamps, marshes, ponds, woods, and grasslands through the loop trail system. The picnic area features barbecue stations, rain shelters, and seating for group gatherings. The center is used for environmental education by local school districts and is open for small group picnics and tours by reservation. Birdwatchers can enjoy the Great Florida Birding Trail site, with loaner optics available at the NFC library.
