"WORST dental experience I've ever had in my life!! -My first appt was on a Wednesday afternoon. They told me that their machine is broken and I need to come back to do my scan. -Thursday morning, my mouth is really sore so I decided to call in. They said they could do a scan as soon as I'm able to get there so again, I took sick leave from work and headed over. The scan was quick but then the dental assistants didn't know what to do after? Someone ended up talking to me and said that the doctor in the office can take a look at it. I ended up waiting 45 mins in the lobby until the dentist from Wednesday came into work. - Friday. They called me twice to get my credit card number for the $125 consultation fee. Does no one take notes in this office? They also asked to change my appt from 11:30 to 12:30. -Monday is when things really got bad. I get a call asking if I can change my appt from 12:30 to 2pm. I said sure as long as I can get seen that day. I come to the office to check in. I was in the office at 1:55pm. At 2:30pm, I go to the front desk and asked what's going on. She went to the back and somebody up front came to get me 5 mins later AFTER I went to the front desk. -I get led to the back. I noticed is the station is cluttered and not ready. The endodontist (Simon) comes and introduces himself in the most robotic way a person can introduce themselves "Hi. I'm Dr. Simon. Blah blah. Nice to meet you. What's going on today?" without even pausing to let me respond. Ok. Weird... I said I am needing a root canal re-treatment as written by the dentist I saw last Thursday. He asks if I did a scan because they don't have the scan. Even though I did my scan in the same practice.... The dental assistant then went to look for it and finds it. But at this point ofc it's obvious Simon has not looked at any of my records. He asked the dental assistant who the referring dentist was because they haven't seen a dental referral. Are you kidding me??? The referral came from a dentist IN THE SAME OFFICE. Again, the dental assistant looks for it and finds it. Simon takes a look at it and talks to me in a condescending way. Simon: "Are you sure it's that tooth that's hurting?" Me: "Yes, unless the scan shows the infection somewhere else." Simon: snickers at me "I'm asking YOU" Excuse you, Simon. You are supposed to be the expert here. I came to this dental practice to figure out what's wrong with my mouth. Not tell you, the supposedly expert what's wrong with my mouth. An actual professional would take more than just 5 minutes to look at the scan, tell me what he sees and provide suggestions moving forward. I am not there to tell myself what the proper course of treatment is for myself is. At this point, I was FRUSTRATED. I am NOT paying $1500+ for a last minute (for this dentist) procedure that might not even be done properly. Simon comes back and tells me that he COULD do the root canal but there's a 70% chance it will make the pain go away. He can't be sure until we do the procedure. WHAT? WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I PROCEED WITH THIS WHEN HE IS LITERALLY NOT EVEN SURE THIS IS THE BEST COURSE OF TREATMENT FOR ME? All of this delivered in a very condescending tone as well. Oh yea. And he pointed out to the dental assistant that his tools aren't ready. She responded that she will get it ready. After all the re-scheduling, nothing was done on time. So unprofessional! If I could give this clinic a 0, I would because that's what they deserve. Unorganized front desk staff. Unorganized dental assistants. Endodontist with no customer service manners and was very brash. I walked away because I am NOT paying $1500+ for an office who so clearly does not care about their client's time and wellbeing. Lastly, I was supposed to get a refund for the $125 consultation fee and the lady told me "you will get it in the mail in a week." It's been over a week now and of course no refund. As expected of this office. They're so quick to call for my credit card number for that consultation fee yet so so so slow for anything else."
"I have no idea what is going on with this location, but I will never step a foot in the Duluth (Satellite) location, again. The front desk staff is rude and have smart mouths. I have never received bad customer service at this location until the new girls arrived. What a mess! Do not seek service at this location, it's horrible. The crown work was a disaster. Temp crown kept falling off. The hygienists put way too much permanent glue on the crown and my mouth was full of glue. Dr. Maybusher tried to get it out. The bottom of my gums feel funny I have no idea if it was from the numbing injection or not. I recommend you go elsewhere, trust me!"
"I don't know what's going on with this company and the random bills they continue to mail out. I've paid in full the amount my insurance says I'm responsible for and the amount confirmed by the office, however I continue to receive random bills. The same is happening with my husband. I saw them in Jan 2023, and despite me calling on a regular leaving messages and talking to the manager I continue to get bills. I know for a fact I don't have a balance; I've been told numerous times by the office I shouldn't have a balance and they will contact corporate to handle the discrepancy, but that's been all lies. I haven't heard for corporate nor has the issue been resolved, because we continue to get bills in the mail. We will not be returning for care; however, they need to get the billing straight."
"My experience has been amazing. The staff and service is wonderful. Super clean. I have gotten fill ins and my cleanings done and let me tell you the doctors are so amazing. I have now started my braces journey and I couldn’t be happier to have started at DentFirst."
"Great experience at this location, everyone in there is super nice from the front desk to the doctors. Anna the hygienist was so nice and gentle with my cleaning due to me having very sensitive teeth. She is very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of tips on how to improve with my sensitive teeth."
