"Unfortunately, zero stars is not an option. Terrible service from the front desk receptionist to the quality of service to billing. I called this office to inquire if they had any availability for new patients and to confirm if they were in network for my dental insurance. After a couple days of waiting on a call back as the front desk receptionist advised she would confirm my insurance and follow up same day, I called again to follow up and they advised they did confirm my insurance was in network. During my first visit the same front desk associate that failed to follow up with me was rude and dismissive and come to find out provided incorrect billing information as to my cost for services and I now have a bill request for several hundred dollars more after my insurance coverage, that I now have found out is out of network. The service provided by the Dentist was awful, there were several times he incorrectly identified tooth numbers during examination. Then when I had my fillings completed, I had to stop him because he didn't provide enough novacaine and I was in pain. Now I can't even chew on the area he worked on at all. Now I have to pay out more money to fix my teeth due to his incompetence. NEVER AGAIN. It's clear I was duped by the abundance of FAKE reviews for this place."

"Well, Start Smiling has recently acquired the services of Dr Wand, who has been my dentist for many years here in Atlanta. He is amazing. I have needed a good bit of dental work, and he has always done a top notch job, and gone the extra mile whenever I needed him. From the very first visit, Dr Wand brought great wisdom and expertise with his many years of experience. He is very kind and has a gentle, painless approach to his patient's care. I have had many dentists over the years, and Dr. Wand is, by far, the very best I have ever encountered. I cannot express how grateful and satisfied I have been with his services. "Been a patient for over five years here. I got a call last week from Start Smiling Dental asking me to come in for a cleaning so I can use my benefits before they expire for the year. I got the cleaning done today, and then they told me I owe nearly $400 because my insurance was maxed out. Why would you call me to tell me to come in for a cleaning if my insurance is maxed out? Awful way to treat patients that have been seeing you for years. Clearly they're just recklessly trying to pad their bottom line no matter the potential cost to patients."
