"Ok so I was looking for a dentist all summer , located Great expressions accepted my insurance w available appointments. I scheduled and went to appointment. Staff pretty cool . The lady Dental hygienist did come across cold after I made a statement about cosmetic dental services vs keeping your saving your own. Which I can understand in a time where people are just jumping to get veneers over treatment of natural teeth( and that’s her job) I’m like no root canal get em out! Needed approval from insurance. Somewhat communication was lost in translation. So I don’t receive the letter verifying approval of insurance. So fast forward till now . I call 2/7 and was scheduled for 2/8 . Completed treatment z.. appt was @ 9:30 I was out by 11 w three extractions and absolutely no pain!! The male hygienist was polite quick and awesome.. no pain . The assistant open And warm . The front desk throughly.. knowledgeable and quick .. I’m not about other experiences maybe with ladyb dr I can see cuz her demeanor and energy when asking questions gives annoyed. But today ever Was awesome and the procedure was seamless! And that’s what really matters!"

"I scheduled a web appointment for a cleaning. When I arrived they told me my appointment was cancelled due to the hygienist being out for a family emergency. No one took the time to contact me prior to my appointment and essentially I took the day off for no reason. The ladies at the front desk were kind, but the overall customer service is a 0 star. They could have easily called to reschedule and I could have been at work today."

"Going to the dentist should be a an easy, smooth experience but at Great Expressions in Forest Park it's the total opposite! Folks there act as if they're doing you a favor when I'm paying them for a service and they have horrible bedside manner. I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable to ask my Dental Hygienist/doctor questions but she gets in her damn feelings and wants to have an attitude as if am not paying her for her services! So disappointing!"

"It seems as if the front desk has a hard time accepting accountability. I was almost there when I was called and told they would reschedule me due to the system being down. She rescheduled for 2 days later. When I arrived she stated that my appointment was like a month out. I was about to leave but thought about it more and I’m like no I remember when you scheduled my appointment. So I stated that and that’s when she said she saw the appointment for today but also saw the appointment for a month out and that she would see if the dentist could fit me in. Now why would he have to fit me in if I’m on the books? She left the station for literally 3 seconds and came back and said they could see me. There is no way you asked that fast. It’s like she walked down and turned around. Then the dentist stated they would take my tooth out and she insisted on calling my insurance and told him not to do it. Now since when do dentists take commands from the front? It took months for her to call and schedule it even though I had already received approval from Medicaid. So today I came and I’m told I checked your insurance 2 days ago and it said inactive. Now why would you wait until I get here to say that? I drove an hour here and in those 2 days I could’ve been figuring out the problem instead of having to do it right then. I called my insurance and they say it’s active so now I’m just taking my services elsewhere because this is horrible and I have been in agonizing pain with this tooth."
