Hickory Flat Dental

"I went in today to get a crown on my top tooth that was loose and according to Dr. Katherine Lee needed to be handled immediately. I lost my dental insurance last summer and was told that it would cost 1427.00 with the 20% discount, which cost me an additional $99.00. Ok, so it was important, and I had a credit card that I could use. The problem arrised when once the anesthesia was wearing off and I realized that they were working on the wrong tooth. The office manager, Chelli Brown, came in and basically said that I misunderstood and signed the paper for tooth #4. I didn't know the numbers of my teeth, not until today, when the Dental assistant explained them to me. Also, the owner Dr. Katherine Lee, had made her notes on #4 and that was the truth, but did not show me the notes, just kept repeating her CYA verbage over and over. They did offer me to go home with the temporary crown, at a discounted price, but we both knew that was ridiculous, temporary crowns only last about 3 weeks, so I was screwed. I may have to pay for this worthless procedure, but after this I will get a new dentist. Save yourselves, stay away."

"I have been coming here for many years. I am one of those people that hates going to the dentist. Not scared of it but just would rather do any thing else than go to any dentist. Dr. Lee is definitely a dentist I recommend. Not just him but the whole staff here is fantastic. Dr. Chong is just as great as well. As I said I will recommend this place to anyone that asks."

"This was the only office I was able to get in to about a broken tooth. Ultimately it ended up being a wisdom tooth and I'll need to get them all extracted, but the staff was so nice! The dentist was willing to pull it on the spot if I wanted him to even with needing them all removed which I appreciated. I am terrified of the dentist but the lady that took me back (Cynthia, I believe?) was FANTASTIC. She recommended accomodations since I do not currently have dental insurance, and went above and beyond when I mentioned another potential issue I've been having. I felt so comfortable and grateful for everyone I met and now feel a little better about keeping up with my dental hygiene."
