"Neighborhood store hours are from 8am-10pm. However, the doors have been closing alot earlier than the store hours posted! Highly upset again tonight. Try to make a last minute run before closing only to find out that 13 minutes before closing time and the doors are already locked! At least 3 other customers in cars pulled up and expressed their anger about this occurrence continually happening! It's supposed to be a convenient store, only it's not convenient! Employees standing around inside looking back at us through the glass saying their closed, yet the hours posted does not reflect that! We all agreed to give corporate a call in the morning! I will be doing so bright and early! It's sad! If you don't want to work then stay at home!"

"Store has gone downhill over time...hardly ever has anything on the shelves and it's always dirty with some aisles being completely inaccessible. However, some of the staff are extremely friendly and willing to help when able."

"The worst store Ive ever been in . They keep nothing on the shelves , stuff thrown everywhere , and cashiers always talking to each other or texting , if not outside .Every customer in line Monday complained . The line was long and the cashier & key holder /manager standing at the cash register texting someone !!! Id rather go an extra mile to a family dollar anytime . 165 ( the worst ever ) & 431 Phenix City both are horrible !!!"

"The employees at the dollar General near Mount Olive School are always very friendly & I appreciate that they are. But in being honest I must say this store once was the most well kept Dollar Generals in Phenix City is now lacking in cleanliness & the shelves are always disorderly. Lately the isles are always cluttered with a lot of stock & the floors look they are never swept. And it is like that every single time I go in there, which is a lot. The employees always seem to busy when I go in. So I do not understand why for the last 3 months this store has looked so messy."

"Surprisingly stocked little store that folks go to when they either don't have time, or are not inclined, to travel to Columbus. The prices are low, and there is variety but selections are limited. The store is clean, but it's small so it looks cluttered. They have beer here, which is surprising!"
