"I would never recommend this place to anybody that you love. My dad was sent for what we thought was short term, and they even said they did cpr. As soon as he got home, they didn’t even give him a feeding tube, or any life saving measures. Tried talking about pulling life saving measures as soon as they got here. Even one nurse had the audacity to say to him that their goal is to make him as comfortable as possible until he goes. You can call for help all day, but they only want to send help 2 times a week, and blame short staff. Being a medical place, you would think they would have basic medical equipment like suction, but they just say that they will have to order it, and just leave the patient barely able to breathe, and not even send a nurse, so he died. When they were told, it then took them practically 2 hours to even get a nurse to the house, when in all reality they should have been here sooner. I guess why would they be quicker when they said that him going was there goal, when my mom was told different at the hospital, and told that they would send help more then what was received. They told my mom at the hospital that hospice didn’t mean end of life, then as soon as he got home, kept saying that the goal was to make him as comfortable as possible, and just starved him against the family’s wishes, being told countless times by his family to give him a feeding tube. They basically starved him, and he lasted less then a week in their care, scared, and they didn’t even give him something that would calm him down."
