Hampton Inn Dalton

"We are faithful Hilton customers and have stayed in 8 different Hampton Inns within the past month. Historically, I’ve trusted the Hampton name and haven’t felt the need or taken the time to check the reviews before making the reservation through the Hilton app. I’ve trusted their quality control! Not anymore - I’ve learned my lesson! This is NOT the Hilton quality we’ve become accustomed to - this is Motel 6 or worse!! I will forever seek outside reviews of the hotel I plan to book as it appears we can no longer trust the app!!! Do better, Hilton - we expect consistency and this is waaaaay below par!!"

"I can't believe Hilton still has their name on this Motel. It seems like a failed Motel 6 that someone put a band aid on. We always stay at Hampton when traveling because we know the quality will always be there. First, what is with the pillows??? They were 4 pillow "nuggets". They are lumpy, small squares! Next, whoever made our bed has never made a bed before. The fitted sheet was just placed on the top corner of the mattress so when you sat down it popped off. My husband put the sheet back on. The elevator was filthy and noisy. If this were my first Hampton, I would never return. You need to check this location."

"This is the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed in, I honestly can’t believe this hotel has ever passed an inspection. No extra linens in the rooms, my room smelt so bad of cigarettes that my eyes burned all night. The room reminded me of an old run down motel 6. It was so gross I could t even take my shoes off. The bathroom reminded me of an institution and the soap was not brand Neutrogena that you see in ever other Hampton across the US. It was dollar store at best. I couldn’t take a shower because I was sick to my stomach with the level of gross from this room. Hair on my sheets and what looked like urine when I pulled down the comforter. I couldn’t get into my room the first TWO attempts and had to DRIVE back to the front entrance twice before they could finally get me a set of keys. WOW. Can we get and inspection up here Hilton??? I didn’t get offered my Diamond snack until I had to ask twice. This is below expectations"

"Location was fine and convenient to dinning. Highway noise was not bad. Room was horrible the smell of smoke over took any cleanliness. I know it was smoke smell due to being past smoker and the obvious ashtray in the room. It was so bad you could not smell the Clorox on the sheets. With all the products out now to get rid of smells and not mask them I feel smoke smell is inexcusable. Had it not been midnight and a twelve hour drive already we would have left. Even after taking a shower and changing clothes we smell of smoke."

"This is very old hotel so expect some odor in the room but room was clean, strong shower, great service, breakfast. Harley Davidson dealership right on the front of rooms but it didn’t bother me at all. There is other side of hotel directed to Cracker Barrel. Many fast food restaurants around if you like fast food. Outback stake house next to hotel. Very quiet location near quiet shopping center, on the 75 highway exit. You can hear noise from highway but it didn’t bother me. This hotel is like Days Inn - rooms are outside of hotel. Restaurant with billiards and daily karaoke."
