"I’m seriously considering not coming back. Over $32 for lunch. One chicken club combo with drink & a chili cheese spud with a drink. Then, like everywhere else, fast food workers want a tip. Except here, there is no button for “no tip.” The lowest amount is 15% The food is good but it is not THAT good. They were not busy at all and my food still took 15min to receive. May not return, it’s a shame really. This place used to be fantastic."

"Food used to be really good but feel like it has gotten subpar lately. They have hired a bunch of new staff and now the food seems very inconsistent. The young girls that they have hired for front of house are awful. They are on their phones, have AirPods in listening to music or on phone calls, popping their gum while you are trying to order, or in their own world where it seems like you the customer are an inconvenience."

"I love McAlister's but there have been 2 times when I have been in, with the same crew working each time, where service was well below the usual excellent standard of this establishment. Standing in a group chatting with phones in hand and attitudes which don't reflect the usual atmosphere of McAlister's. Also the soup was cold and a table next to us took their plate up to the counter 3 times with some sort of issue and finally just left it and declared he just wasn't going to eat."

"I’ve been here a few times and would usually rate it a 4 or 5 but this evening when I went was a disappointment. I came in and made a choose two order and my husband ordered a sandwich and soup. The young man who took our order did not listen to our order, resulting in my husband missing the chips he ordered in addition to the soup, so he ended up not getting them. The cashier also was mumbling very badly, making it hard to understand what he was saying. We did a take out order and the sandwich I ordered was the club sandwich and it wasn’t made correctly, as it’s literally the only sandwich I order or eat from there and know it was incorrect. The meat didn’t even cover the bread, it was only at the very tip of the sandwich and it looked like they used salad remains to make my sandwich. The bread was soggy and saturated by the time I got home, which I live less than 10 minutes away. My husband’s sandwich was also falling apart. Tonight was just a disappointment, but normally it’s a great experience here. The one positive thing I can say is their broccoli cheddar soup is my absolute favorite and is always good."
