"I joined LA Fitness mainly because of the pool. My physical therapist told me that water therapy would help with my recovery. I'm in a wheelchair and I have extreme nerve pain from my waist down to my toes. The highlight of my day/week is going to the pool. It gives me some relief from my current situation. This is the nearest location to my house. The pool has been freezing these past few months. I'm unable to use this location and have to drive further to other locations that may have the same issue. If it's not the pool, it's the hot tub or mens sauna that is not working. I pay my membership on time every month. Other members have been complaining about this gym."
"Needed some heat on the back and only wanted to use the sauna today. But that didn't happen, and it wasn't the fault of LA Fitness. Seating in the sauna was filled by guys staring at their phones instead of being out on the floor exercising. Waited a bit, but things didn't change. As one or two came out, others went in -- phones in hand. Members at several machines were doing the same. It's hard to understand the wisdom of going to the gym just to play on your phone."
"This place is ok. They definitely need to invest some of the money on keeping all the machines in perfect condition. How much does it cost to replace the rubber on the bar handles?"
"Editing this review from 1 to 4 stars since Manager fixed the master stairs and also had a nice approach about the issue. As a customer I expect that equipment that are not maintained be fix so we can use."
"Nice gym, conveniently located, and great community. They keep the facility relatively clean, and have been working hard lately at updating machines that require maintenance."
