Magnolia Tree Park

"Has 2 picnic tables(such as they are), a Grove of magnolia trees, and about 8 parking spaces. I come here at lunch so no one at work can find me. It's my parking spot of zen."

"What a great thing was done when a handful of people saved the old Magnolia from being bulldozed for the industrial park some time ago. The colony of trees appears to have been generated by an ancient tree somewhat still remaining. It is a great nature lesson for kids to explore. I hope the Tifton Chamber of Commerce helps tidy it up and sponsor a couple shade trees for the picnic tables."

"We really enjoyed this stop on our road trip! 8 minutes off of 75 and we got gas before we got back on. It’s a perfect “get out, stretch your legs and burn off some energy” spot. The tree is so pretty but not everyone cleans up after themselves. There are some paths inside where you can walk through the branches. The spot really has a lot of potential."
