"How can you not love this place? Washington Park is the gift that keeps on giving! It shines brightest in the Spring, but that's my opinion. I go year-round. You should go check it out yourself. I'm surprised it hasn't been used in a movie or TV show yet. It's hidden in plain sight and even kinda looks like a set from the street!"

"We happened to stumble across this cute little park while on the hunt for a bear statue we seen and wanted a picture of. We Parked in downtown Macon and took a walk till we found the bear and there was the park down the hill behind him! The park itself was very nice. Only thing was all the fountains and pools didn't have any water in them. Being March and the fact it had been fairly warm out the week before we weren't sure why. I'm sure the park is way better with the water running. I did spend some time picking up trash people left laying around. There were empty water bottles laying on and around a memorial bench that we cleaned up and there were an odd amount of shoes and clothes laying around the park."
