"The tester should have been up front, and told me that the vehicle probably will not pass the test with the check engine light on, before testing the vehicle. If he would have done this, I would have taken the car directly to a mechanic and saved the $20.00 (some repair shops are testing centers and have vehicle emissions testing equipment). After contacting the tester by telephone, and voicing my concerns of not being transparent up-front, and taking my $20.00 before telling me I failed the test, (if it was my business, I would not charge anything if you fail the test) the tester had absolutely no regard for my concerns, and was short. His approach to my concerns was unprofessional, authoritarian, with no courtesy. I am getting my car repaired now at a very reputable mechanic shop that has on site emissions testing and will never ever go back to this place."
"Not bad. The owner is vocal about politics so be aware of the comments you make. Also if you are from CA he just doesn't want you moving to GA. Overall the place is just like a regular old shop. He was pleasant did a good job and I was in and out of there very quickly."
