"For some reason Gary from this location doesn't like to pull parts so they are guaranteed to be there with my items that are already purchased. When I asked if it can be put with my other stuff, Gary replied that it'll be here when I get there... yeah as long as nobody else gets there first. Unprofessional, poor customer service."

"It's all auto part store and that's pretty straightforward for me. They either got it or they don't. The helpful hints on things I don't know can be just a bonus. If not , I got the part. That's a win Everytime."

"SAD day to have such unprofessional service. I bought a starter last week and the guy said make sure you bring the core back to receive a $40 credit NEVER said make sure you bring it in the box. THREE guys and all gave me attitude because I am not a mind reader and didn't bring it in the box. I will go home and dig through the trash and get the box and this O'reilly will not be on my list as a go to anymore. Go to AUTOZONE at least they care enough to communicate with you as to their exact instructions on how to return a core.........Very unhappy"

"Doug is a great manager This is my post of AutoZone from across the street. Thanks Doug for all of you help and honestly. A true southern gentleman. So for as long as I can remember last 10 years or more AutoZone had always price matched other competitors as long as it was the exact same product with the exact same warranty as do most other auto parts stores. However I have been going to autozone since I was 16 and same as lowes was kind of brand loyal unless they just didn't have the part especially since they have a rewards program. So now that I almost 40 and have a landscape company I go into autozone a lot I have a 99 Astro van, 05 jeep liberty, 03 ford expedition, 00 nissan frontier, and 2 motorcycles, 2 commercial mowers, etc... All older vehicles and equipment so lots of parts and lots of oil Mobile 1 oil to be specific I swear buy it all my vehicles are old because I take care of my stuff and use Mobile 1 oil full synthetic high mileage best stuff you can get, I put it in everything I own even a 4 stroke makita backpack blower. Since it such a good oil it's usually more expensive than other oils which is to be expected. However Walmart always has the best price but I always try and support smaller local businesses such as AutoZone and up until today they have always honored the price match guarantee. I walked in got some Mobile 1, an oil filter and some radiator stop leak. I asked to make sure they price match as i opened my phone and John the manager said that the do not price match oil or radiator fluid. I was a little confussed so I even called the highway 58 store which is another store I frequent and never had an issue with them price matching anything as long as it was the same exact product and brand. Well I purchased the other 2 items and used my rewards points and left the Mobile 1 oil which was priced @ $41.99 and walmart had it priced @ $22.88 so a fairly significant difference I as a business owner could justify as I could just drive a block to Walmart and save $20. Long story short I wasn't going to drive the block to Walmart when I remembered that O'Reilly's price matches and they will price match Walmart and they are litteraly right accross the street. I went in got the oil asked if he priced matched Doug the manager said yes I said great Walmart has it for $22.88 he said cool (also O'Reilly's had the Mobile 1 oil @ $29.95) I explained that I just came from AutoZone and that they wouldn't price match accross the street. The manager Doug thought it was odd that they wouldn't price match either. Then he said I should just come into O'Reilly's in the future and I explained that AutoZone has a rewards program and he said so do they and I was like sold! I spend probably close to $5k a year if not more on parts, oil filters, spark plugs, wires, batteries, snake oil, etc... What I can't understand is that Scott the store manager has bent over backwards in the past several times for me to make things right, even from other stores one of which was a water pump I bought in Madison, AL and they sold me the water pump with a clutch which I didn't need as I had an electric fan, also helped me with a battery return and various other things. But John specify told me that the store manager does not honor price matches on oil or radiator fluid. I was so excited to see an AutoZone come to Ooltewah as I was either forced to O'Reilly's, Walmart, 58 AutoZone or East Brainerd AutoZone. In fact Larry was the first store manager from East Brainerd and even though he was pretty good IMHO Scott has been way better at solving issues I have had personally. And I have lots of problems with older vehicles. The 05 jeep liberty needs a new cats and O2 sensors to pass emissions so probably close to $600 if had to guess going to O'Reilly's as they price match and have a rewards program as well. Also if you need brakes maybe you should visit O'Reilly's before they completely fade out Doug will help you!"
