Speedway Laundromat

"I'm giving them 3 stars only because they r fairly cheap to wash n dry if it wasn't for that I would only give them a 2. Half or more than half of washers don't work n if they do u better check em cus the one had all kinds of dog hair inside the washer. Which I had already stuck my money in the machine or wouldn't have used it or at least wiped it out prior to using so I had to make a make-shift strainer n try to get it out! N to top it off when I got there I wasn't paying attention to the hours of operation on the door I was just trying to get clothes washed. The lights were on n door was open so I went inside n proceeded to do laundry. Not 30 mins into me being there the owner walks in n says "what u can't read the sign"? I was confused n answered him umm, excuse me? No I didn't read sign the door was open the lights were on I didn't realize I needed to stop n read hours of operation. He says "I wasn't here at 8 (I guess when they r supposed to close) to lock up cus I was watching WVU game". So it's my fault I'm here cus u were to busy watching a game to come lock up ur establishment?? To feel belittled is an understatement. Try n make me feel stupid cus ur to busy doing something else to lock up ur place??! N at that point I had just started washer, it was literally filling with water n 4 other machines running. N 2 loads in the dryer. N I told him idk what you want me to do cus I have a washer just filling with water n 4 others almost done but I was wash the load of clothes that washer was filling with water n then I would leave n he says "well I can't be here all night". At that point I didn't even respond back to his snide conments i just tried to get done as quickly as possible n leave. Needless to say I didn't end up drying the 5 loads of clothes. I bagged up the 5 wet loads of clothes n left! I will not go back to that place. I'll take my business somewhere else! The extra money I'll spend somewhere else will be money well spent!"

"There was only 6 working washers and 4 or 5 dryer working. If they had more washers fixed and was up an running i would've given a better review"

"An outdated laundromat nonetheless. I will say… it is a very convenient location in distance to my partners house. The closest in fact! I decided to take a walk around to notice something’s about this place. While there are 13 dryers.. only 5 are currently working. All of the others have some type of problem with heating, rotation or timer. Out of the 27 single top load washers only 7 are currently working. 2 TRIPLE LOAD machines with only 1 working. To me this is one of the biggest downfalls to this facility at the moment. Other things to note. Very dusty, very outdated, and ceiling panels looking almost to cave in and in some spots on them maybe even black mold from the looks of a leak?!? Other wise. The price and location is right!"

"Like someone else said 28 regular machines and 2 big machines, about 10 machines actually work and 12 dryers and only 5 work. But whoever owns it or manages it actually tries to keep place clean and I watched him clean every machine that does work before closing. So A+ on that. Dryers work ok, could be better. Convenient for me to do a load of laundry and not a bad price at $2.00 a load. Does have a soda machine and soap dispenser but I bring my own, but no radio or tv."

"30 washers, only 11 work. Of the 13 dryers only 4 work. After doing my laundry, my clothes smell musty. Maintain your equipment. Not comming here again"
