"Beautifully kept 2,600 acre Nature Preserve in SW Virginia open FREE to the Public. The fact that it's home to such an iconic movie is cherry on top. Take a hike on one of the numerous trails or book an excursion at the outfitters to go out on Gator ATV. We loved exploring everywhere while staying at the lodge, which we also highly recommend! You can tell the locals take such pride in their home. I am excited to come back with my loved ones to explore more. Don't forget scavenger hunt"

"Enjoyed the look around the area where the classic dirty dancing was filmed. What a nice tribute to the stars that visited and stayed at the location. If you are just passing through beware the backroad was long, winding and full of potholes or washed out areas of roadway. It is a lovely area out in the countryside and maybe sometime we will be able to actually stay at the lodge."

"Blessings to whoever owns this expansive property, they run it almost like a park. I love that they allow you to simply park where you think you need to, and then hike where you please. The little lake itself looks painfully low, but that's just nature. Bald Knob is here, and truly quite a view. I've been up it for both sunset and sunrise, and while both were neat, I had to climb a tree to see the sunrise."
