"We took my mother to ELCH emergency. Wow! The people working were all so kind, caring and efficient. They were patient with my 80 year old mother and communicated appropriately. Every human… amazing. Upon being admitted, always kept the family informed and provide information that we needed whenever we called or visited. If it’s possible, my hospital of choice even if it’s 45 minutes away from Boardman. Thank you ELCH. Keep doing what you’re doing!!! We need great hospitals!"

"Only thing worth going to the hosp for is the wound care was there this passed weekend with back pain unable to walk did X-ray but report was from someone else’s xray told me nothing they can do anything for me back is strained but it’s actually bent hardware from previous surgeries no relief leg gave out after discharged fell in hall way nobody seemed concerned no report taken no ask any question was was told get up now from staff contacted a lawyer about this. Don’t go to er very bad care and careless staff also the report from visit said dr examined me including back he walked in stared at me said get u a X-ray he didn’t touch me ask me anything. Hope to get something settled with this er department . Time before that the same dr refused to give me insulin for sugar reading saying high that means over 500 no blood work told be I was released. Complete incompetence dr with no reason to be a dr he will kill a love one or already have. High glucose is nothing to mess with and of course his boss had a excuse for this visit called protocol lol no protocol for high glucose the proper protocol is fluid and insulin. I didn’t have to go to medical school to know that."

"I love the nurses. They are over worked and under paid. When a patient has to wait over an hr before a nurse comes to see them, that is crazy. You the pencil pushers who don't see the everyday traumas and work of the nurses need to spend a day with the nursing staff. The nurses do they best they can with what they have to work with. Tesla went above and beyond to help me when I called on her. Jackie nursing assistant went and got her within 5 minutes I was being taken care of. Thank you ladies. Candy nursing assistant totally disrespectful told me I had to get up and move when I was very sick. Clapping her hands at me then when she was called into the office to come back to my room I tried to talk to her and she put her hand in my face. Totally disrespectful. The other nurses are all kinds and compassionate when though they are overworked."

"I have been here a few times. My first experience was not very good. The staff were not nice towards me at ALL and did not listen to me and treated me as if I was a child who didn’t know what they were talking about. (I have an extensive background in the medical field) That was in 2016. However my last two experiences were undoubtedly wonderful. The nurses and doctors listened to my concerns and treated me with respect and dignity even though at times I wasn’t the most pleasant patient. They still didn’t get frustrated with me and answered the call lights and were very attentive. A few years ago I would’ve told you I wouldn’t take my dog there. Now, with the changes they have made I would recommend going to this hospital. I live closer to other hospitals but this one made me feel more comfortable than any others. AMAZING STAFF!! They all deserve a raise!!!"
