"I had a cloudy pool, but almost clear. I took in a test water sample. The pool PH was high 7.8 very pink on test kit. They suggested muriatic acid. a whole gallon. ok... I place it in there and instant clouds.. I wait the 6hrs they told me (and the magic that was to happen) still cloudy. I place in my test kit the PH was now sunset orange! I have added 5lbs of ash and still have orange on the test kit...added another 2lb ash the clouds are clearing but the Ph is still very low.. My advice add MAYBE a cup of this at a time, use your judgement"
