Called in and order and they got it mixed up which was all good wanted the combination plate of chicken strips and popcorn shrimp. didn't get the popcorn shrimp but got a lot of chicken strips with it so it was just a miscommunication no worries. They were supper busy. A++++"

"It was my first visit, and it won't be my last. My husband and I had the create your own combo with a choice of 3 menu items for $14.00. It was a HUGE plate of food. The flounder was delicious, and so was the popcorn shrimp, slaw, and hushpuppies. Onion rings for an appetizer were good, too. The sweet tea was perfect."

"I've been visiting this place since the dockside days, and it's honestly only gotten better. Recently, after a website consultation with the owner, I swung by for some shrimp. The improvement is noticeable – the atmosphere's more refined, and the food? It was always good, but now it's top-notch. For an inland seafood spot, they're really hitting the mark. The staff are great too. The only downside is having to pay as you go out; I prefer settling up with the wait staff. But for food and service this good, it's definitely worth it."

"This is one of the best quality seafood restaurants around. It's worth the drive to Forest City, NC. The waitresses go the extra mile to make your visit great. My husband had chicken tenders, baked potato, slaw & hush puppies. I had the calabash shrimp with catfish filet, baked potato, slaw. I also had a side salad. I brought half my plate home. So much food. Prices are very fair. A friend told us about this gem & really glad she did."
