"Will never buy another battery from Royal anywhere.....Bought a nearly $500 Odyssey Marine battery from Royal and it went bad. So, I called last Thursday (2 business days ago) and spoke to the representative of the Kissimmee store who pulled up the sale information and told me the battery was "still under warranty so bring it in and we will swap it our for you" if there is an issue. I brought the battery in today (Monday 2 business days later) and after testing the battery and telling me it appears its no good but he needed to try and charge it, the representative tells me the warranty expired yesterday (Sunday) and there was now nothing he could do but would sell me a new one. Do you think the representative would have told me on Thursday that the warranty expires on Sunday and they are not open on the weekend so i needed to bring it to them the same day (or Friday)? NO! Do you think they would contact the manufacturer and explain the situation to see if they would allow me to return the battery under the warranty since I spoke to them on Thursday and brought the battery to them the first day they were opened? NO!! Do you think they would offer to discount a new battery since I got hosed on the warranty on the prior $500 battery by a single day because they failed to tell me it was expiring the next day, or be open over the weekend when I could have returned it? NO!! Do you think I am ever going to buy a battery from Royal again? NO!! (I bet you got that one right). :) It is unfortunate there is no common sense and effort to build brand loyalty these days. Customers are just a number....."
