"I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Gleaton over 2 months ago. I got a call today from one of the office lady’s stating that despite being scheduled on a Thursday, Dr. Gleaton does not work on Thursdays and I would have to reschedule in October with her or see a NP. I told her how long I had been waiting for the appointment and voiced, calmly, that I felt an exception could be made since the mistake was not mine and I had been waiting so long. She replied that she could not make an exception, and that instead I could schedule sooner with a NP, and that “they’re great. She (Dr. Gleaton) wouldn’t have hired them if they weren’t.” I told her the last comment was not necessary and that she could keep my appointment. But just now called back and canceled. I would have been able to get over the fact that I would not see the doctor, but I believe all staff you come across represents the business you encounter, and if her sassy remark is how they talk to people, I will kindly go elsewhere."
