"Huge shout out to Jacob S. in the television department over the weekend. He was extremely helpful in educating my wife and I on a few different model televisions regarding different features etc. . In fact, his knowledge made us comfortable enough that we went ahead and completed the purchase during the visit. The reason for 4 stars are the other two employees in the same department. I tracked them down while they were engaged in a personal discussion only to feel that I had bothered them. I was given a 4 word explanation on the difference in tv models. Had Jacob not helped I probably would have purchased the television elsewhere. Best buy Jacob was the saving grace for this location on the day I visited."

"Purchased an Open Box TV listed as (Excellent Like New). I would have purchased it new but this store was the only store around me that had the specific model I was looking for and they only had one open box that was listed as excellent. Purchased online and drove 1 hour to pickup. When I get there they wheel out the tv wrapped in bubble wrap. Luckily I inspected it because there was a huge amount of what looked like damage on the lower left part of the actual screen. I didn't even take off any more of the wrap and told him I would be refusing the TV. His statement "I don't know why anyone buys open box, this is what you get." Seriously? A TV that is described as "Excellent like new" with obvious damage? No one seemed to care that I drove an hour to pickup a misrepresented product. They only stated it wasn't their fault and offered no solutions other than a refund. Definitely will steer clear of Best Buy in the future."

"Pick up service was a bad experience. I bought an item on Amazon but it was going to arrive in a few days. Since I wanted the item earlier I went and checked best buy and saw that the item was available (in stock) with same day pickup, so I went for it. Since it was late I waited until the morning of the next day and ordered at 9:30AM and canceled my Amazon order. After 8 hours of not receiving any update beside "we are preparing your order" I decided to call and was told that due to high volume for Black Friday they could not guarantee the day they promised and I might get it the day after. I understand this and it makes sense so I waited. Around 8pm of that day the status of the order said "we are unable to deliver this product. If we can't get the item to the store by Sunday (tomorrow) we will cancel and refund the product". So obviously the product was never in stock or they just sold them all even tho I had already placed my order. Obviously I was expecting the order to be cancelled so I ordered through amazon again. On Sunday the order changed from that message to "pick up on Tuesday". Weren't they going to cancel the order if it was not on Sunday? And when I try to cancel the order on my side It shows me that the taxes and fees are not refundable. I then decided to call (a 30 minute call that 25 of them were on hold) and was told that the product was not in stock when I placed the order (even tho the app said it was) and was going to get to the store on Wednesday and ready to pick up on Thursday. So what the app currently says of picking up on Tuesday is incorrect. I have decided to cancel the product and lose the money of the taxes since at this point there is no way to guarantee that I will get the product on Thursday either. In summary, do not waste your time and go to Amazon or go directly to the store. The only good thing is that the two people that answered the customer service were pretty nice. They couldn't help but at least understood my frustration."

"It's a hit or miss with them. I keep having faith that they are the real savior n not amazon for last-minute tech, but I get disappointed. Had a job needed a last-minute item, so I ordered curbside the night before choose a store miles away to give enough time even though it said the order will be ready in an hour the night i ordered it. Arrived at the store at midday the next day to be told at that time they didn't have the item. A simple email would have been nice rather than wasting my time if u can't get something as simple as that correct well maybe amazon really is gonna get you."
