"This used to be a decent place to live about three years ago. There’s been a lot of turnover. I’m not a big fan of the new management, although I’ve gotten along with everyone in the past. I’ll be happy to get out of this roach infested complex very soon! The neighbors are very friendly, but speaking Portuguese, as your first or second language would definitely be the best option for you! Unfortunately, my son is not comfortable going out to play because he attends a private school and doesn’t know any of the kids nor does he speak the same language as them. This place is pretty much a joke, but if you need something with a low security deposit, it may be a great option for you at least temporarily!"
"I gave this place 3 stars because other than the occasional loud music coming from cars, it’s quite and the homes are nice and spacious with minor issues and pest control doesn’t work the best but they try and maintenance team are always nice. I’m tired off all the stray cats and the dumpster see pic below is always disgusting in the morning and at night sometimes mid day because it’s only one for some genius reason for the whole complex. Next the dumpster stinks everyday and I’m tired of smelling it when the wind blows. Can’t even enjoy sitting outside all I smell is dumpster. My biggest issue is this dumpster and all the excuses with no solution. This disgusting dumpster brings a swarm of flies especially in the summer time. The last thing is all the pot holes everywhere. Seems like the only concern is the the Newley constructioned area and it’s not cool because we all pay if not more in a substantial amount of rent. This is an upper management issue that’s needs attention. Talking to neighbors they feel the same."
"Review after living here since 2019. When I first moved in we found out our kitchen was infested with roaches. After about 6 months of their pest treatment we finally got it under control. Occasionally you will still get a roach or other bugs that come in. Lawns are a marsh they flood often and water stands for a while. Lawn care happens often but there are always patches of tall grass left. Mulch of choice at this property is pine straw and it is often infested with red bugs. Previous occupant must have had cats banisters and window ledges were riddled with scratches nothing painted over or cleaned up before move in. Property being in a marsh area has foundation issues many cracks in walls and ceilings just painted over. Doors either wouldnt close right or would swing open because of the foundation issues. We had asked for the upgraded appliances before move in, they were never updated. When our microwave went out they replaced with the cheapest one possible. Walls are thin even with noise canceling headphones I could hear what the neighbors had going on. Property has a few feral cats and watch where you step dog poop everywhere even though the complex supplies bag dispensers. Many times people walk their pets off leash or dogs from the surrounding communities wander in and they charged at our dog. Trash compactor is frequently overflowing, luckily we had a garage so we could store our bag till it was cleared as not to add to the pile. Many residents without a garage would just have trash bags outside their doors. Prices steadily got jacked up to pay for their new expansion. What we started out paying for a 3 bedroom they now wanted for a 1 bed. When our neighbor had a ring camera we caught people going through the parking lot checking doors on cars. Make sure you keep yours locked. People from around the area jump the fence to use the pool as they like. Community has a no fireworks policy but doesnt matter as people set off fireworks at the school next to the property anyway. Dragon way street to the school is often blocked off by the line of cars waiting to pick up kids at school. Many pot holes in the lots and entrances. Amenties included the car wash station and vacuum area. This was nice when it was working. Someone backed into the vacuum and it took what felt like forever to get fixed. I never checked again I had just bought my own shop vac. Maintenance mostly does a good job in responding to issues all requests need to be submitted online. We had water multiple times in our kitchen from hot water heater issues. Right before move out we discovered a leak in our bathtub hot water line because the paint on the ceiling below bubbled and collapsed. Took a week to get that issue resolved they tried dying it out with fans before finally cutting open the drywall to see the problem, but as we were moving out it was not fully repaired or painted while we were still there. Everything is online through the resident portal, but after move out they keep badgering us for a forwarding address even though we do not have a permanent address at this time. Digital communication through email should suffice its 2023 and even all of their stuff has been moved to online. Our move out was the 10th their online resident portal never updated to reflect this. We paid our final prorated rent and left, but the online system still generated late notices and paperwork that did not apply to us. Property is ok if you can handle the above, but beware it feels overpriced for what you'll end up dealing with."

"Toured Devon Pointe twice and both times I was very impressed with Ronji, the manager and Cassandra, the front office lady. Both were very knowledgeable, offered refreshments, smiled a lot and were willing to answer any and all questions I had. I leased the apt I toured and will be moving in soon. Thanks to them both for making my experience at Devon Pointe unforgettable."
