"Poor communication to start off. Was approved for an apartment and already paid the fees. It was supposed to be move in ready then they switched it around to “oh we need a week”. It’s been over two weeks now since we last spoke. Crappy management"

"I lived here from 2000-2004 (it was called Wildwood Apartments at that time), and looks like things at this place have just gotten worse over the years. When I lived there, the biggest issue was the roaches and bugs. We had an infestation. They were all over the place, from the bathrooms, the kitchen, bedrooms, just everywhere. I remember many times watching them just come from under the front door, vents, etc., and being someone who moved from New York to South Carolina, I never seen or had roaches in my life. When brought to the attention of the property manager, we were just told "Oh those are palmetto bugs, they are everywhere down south."...yeah, no they were not. They were cockroaches. You wouldn't be able to walk through an apartment, without feeling them 'crunch' under your carpet when you walked over them. That's how bad it was with the roaches. Not to mention, roaches cause serious health problems, and I never had asthma in my life until I moved here. Between the mold and bug issues, I developed asthma. Then there were hoards of black widow spiders around your apartment doors, snakes that would come out from the wooded areas around the apartment complex, lots of stray cats. It was pathetic. Then there was inconsiderate neighbors that would play their music loud at all hours of the night, which you could hear through the paper thin walls. Looking at Google maps, looks like the building I used to live in was possible demolished, which after reading the reviews, sounds like the entire complex needs to be demolished as well. Avoid places like this that are run by slumlords. I'm glad I moved back to New York, I would rather deal with cold, snowy winters, then to have to live with mold and roach infested apartments."

"This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Can't get nothing fixed at your apartment but they want their rent on time or there is a $75 later fee. Trash lefted in front of people's doors just to lazy put it in the trash can. Got bugs in my apartment from other people's being just nasty."

"Since they took down my last review because I didn’t use my actual name…. Roaches, and mice. Took me 7 months to get any maintenance done and that included my dishwasher and my bathtub which was actively leaking water. They don’t communicate anything. When you visit the office there’s nobody down there or nobody available to help. Heard the complex is being sold once again. They are pet friendly. They have a ton of feral cats roaming about because people don’t fix their animals but don’t worry there’s still plenty of mice and roaches to make friends with. Car break ins. Don’t leave any of value because your car will be broken into. Expect loud music at all hours of the night. Expect your amenities that you pay for to be broken more often than not. Don’t expect to actually have a conversation with anyone after signing your lease because once they have you trapped they stopped caring."

"It’s not entirely terrible. It’s definitely expensive for the space and the condition of the apartments. We had issues that took months to fix, missed work orders or it just saying it was fixed and no one ever came, tons of missed phone calls as sometimes reaching the office is impossible. Everything seems to be fixed cheaply as possible, holes in the walls when we moved in and the bugs. The centipedes are disgusting, the sheer amount of them coming in the house from any crevasse possible is insane. I haven’t seen any rats, but I have seen roaches, big, big roaches outside but they haven’t been an issue inside our home specifically. Otherwise the staff is very friendly and considerate! The maintenance people are friendly as well and do a good job. Honestly it seems like improvement has been made since we first moved in as the staff answers the phones and are often cheerful. They also opened the pool and that is wonderful! It’s truly a godsend in this weather. Like I said there are ups and downs- I would love too see washers and dryer’s added to the units for convenience."
