"My uncle, Mack Griffin, and my great-grandfather were the original owners. After Uncle Mack's death, another uncle, Bo Griffin ran it until he passed away, It was later sold to a local member of the community. I have fond memories of going there as a child."
"This is an old. Country store located on Greensboro Road, (Georgia Hwy 44). I spoke with the current owner today and she told me they were in the process of remolding the store and reopening it since it was a part of the community. Old ledgers dated back into the 1920's told the history of the trades between the previous store owner and those that visited on a daily basic. Plans are to also add a small kitchen to the renovations. There is a small Laundromat that sits to the right of the store that is still used by many. Hopes are to upgrade these facilities as well."
