the driver rushed into the traffic from the side of the road. he stood on the emergency signals. Without turning on the turn signal, he jumped into the traffic. no one expected such an action from him. the truck that was in the right lane rushed into the left lane and there was a car there. That car slammed on the brakes and miraculously the truck didn’t crash into it. the truck that was walking in the right lane applied emergency braking and another truck almost crashed into it from behind. this action qualifies as an assault or a threat to life. Swift is known for its stupid drivers. but this one was dangerous to society. this driver cannot be on the road. take action and fire this idiot or close your company. Best regards, truck driver. My name is Jazmon Puryear and I started with swift December 4th 2023. I was told they would be moving forward with my application and sent out an offer letter which I signed and completed. I cleared my schedule and quit my job all for swift to tell me on my 3rd day of virtual training that I was “dismissed” and “disqualified” stating I did not meet “hiring criteria” which I was not even made aware of what that “hiring criteria” was. I let my clients go and cleared my busy schedule all for nothing. Swift wasted my time and wasted my money and I lost my job thinking I would be officially beginning my trucking career with swift. It was extremely unfair that I was told AFTER my 3rd day and AFTER losing my current job that I would not be able to move forward when that is something I should’ve been told before starting with swift. This is devastating to both myself and my family as I have lost my job and now my trucking career for a reason I have still not received. This is going to be extremely hard to recover from and I strongly believe I was wrongfully terminated. My recruiter (Johana elveriz) told me she would reach out and ask why I was dismissed and never got back with me. I would like to return to class and start my trucking career with swift if at all possible but I have not received a response from anyone yet. This is the absolute worst situation I could possibly have put my family in and I am extremely disappointed in this company for wasting my time.
I love the fact that their is a gym to workout but the showers lately have been a mess. Takes me a minute to clean up after someone else before using them to leave it clean after is so much time especially if there are other people waiting in line . And the parking is the worst. Trailers everywhere.
This is one of better terminals swift have. Nice clean hot showers. Free wash and dry. Huge driver lounge. And also a gym. Everything a terminal needs for the drivers. Now parking isn’t the best could be better and not good lighting for night time. Gated and safe will definitely come back to this terminal again.
